Death of an Account Holder
Joint Account: if a party to a joint account dies, the funds will be transferred to the survivor automatically on the production of a death certificate.
If you open an account in your sole name only, you may wish to consider taking out an Isle of Man Will so that your Isle of Man assets can be distributed to your intended beneficiaries without complications (see Isle of Man Wills).
